DESCRIPTION:2025 North Carolina Thoracic Society Annual Educational Conference\nThis is the ninth annual educational conference by the North Carolina Thoracic Society. This conference involves numerous (non-CME) activities Friday at the Speedway Club including a reception\, food\, posters\, exhibits and 2 workshops on pleural diseases. On Saturday (CME)\, we have a number of lectures that address the major causes of respiratory mortality in the state\, presentations on managing challenging diseases as NTM and pleural fistulas\, followed by an update on NC pulmonary fellowship programs and then talks by each program’s fellows. We provide high quality educational programs that benefit lung health professionals\, their patients\, research and public health efforts. Importantly\, we serve as a society that provides a mechanism for lung health professionals to meet\, learn\, and collaborate with their peers in North Carolina. DESCRIPTION:2025 North Carolina Thoracic Society Biennial Interstitial Lung Diseases Conference\nThis is the second specialty educational conference on ILDs by the North Carolina Thoracic Society. This meeting is a collaboration with the Cone LeBauer Health Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation Center\, is hosted by Murali Ramaswamy\, MD and Praveen Mannam\, MD\, and involves five Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation Centers in NC and Va. Faculty will address the spectrum of interstitial lung diseases including early treatment\, mechanisms of disease\, therapies\, exacerbations\, ILD mortality in NC\, and a particular emphasis on autoimmune ILDs. We provide high quality educational programs that benefit lung health professionals\, their patients\, research and public health efforts.
