Lung Cancer Update for Primary Care: Prevention, Screening, Staging, and Management
October 10 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pmFree
The lung cancer update for primary care will be held at 3 different locations in NC in 2019. Lung Cancer is one the leading causes of death in NC and more effective strategies are now available in all aspects of lung cancer. Primary care physicians are key providers in the prevention and screening of lung cancer. They are the principal providers to refer at-risk patients for lung cancer screening using low-dose computed tomography. A current understanding of the staging and management will aid the primary care provider in the general medical care of these patients.
